Smart Maritime Group (SMG) is a major Ukrainian shipbuilding holding and one of the largest shipbuilders in Europe. The Group currently directly owns 2 largest Ukrainian shipyards – Chernomorsky (ChSY) and Kherson (KSY).
Shipyards located within 70 km from each other we can offer flexible construction terms, operational transparency, highest quality and large expertise in shipbuilding.
The production program is focused on the building of multipurpose vessels, tankers, offshore vessels, tugs, other type of the vessels as well as hull building and construction of offshore structures.
The yards have the production capacity to perform the full cycle of shipbuilding works, from steel cutting and bending to mounting of the propulsion complex, outfitting works and manufacturing of complicated marine systems.
Completion of the vessels by “turnkey” is carried out with the involvement of the local and foreign companies for electrical installation, insulation, ccommodation and HVAC works.
In paralel with shipbuilding the Group deal with Shiprepair & Conversion. Annually about 60 vessels of various types undergo repair and conversion on the shipyards’ slipways.
