For the first time in Sri Lanka, an awards program dedicated to recognize digital excellence is about to take place. , This awards program is a brainchild of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC. SLT ZeroOne Awards 2016 is organized to recognize institutions, individuals and brands for achievements by leveraging digital technologies.. The digital sphere presents opportunities for institutions and individuals to innovate within the respective field of digital landscape. Since the medium is continually evolving, it also presents a challenge for brands to adapt ‘Information Communication’ and ‘Information Technology’ incredibly fast to stay relevant. Although the adoption rate in Sri Lanka is quite fast compared to its South Asian counterparts, there is still the need to push the envelope when it comes to digital innovation and tactical executions.
