Sitnasuak is proudly one of the Alaska Native village corporations created by the U.S. Congress in 1971 under the provisions of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Sitnasuak was incorporated in 1973 as a for-profit, Alaska Native village corporation. Today, Sitnasuak is the largest of the 16 village corporations in the Bering Straits region and headquartered in Nome, Alaska. We now have almost 2,900 shareholders and annual revenues over $134 million.
