Shanghai Yaohua Pilkington Glass Group Co., Ltd.(SYP Group), established in 1983, became one of China’s first publicly listed glass manufacturers in 1993. SYP Group is engaged and committed to constant and continuous manufacturing improvements through further research and development in areas related to high performance, energy efficiency, safety and environment friendly, such as Low-E coatings, solar power system and energy saving insulated glass units. SYP Group’s Flat Glass Business has five controlled subsidiaries – Pudong SYP Pilkington Glass Co., Ltd., Tianjin SYP Pilkington Glass Co., Ltd., Jiangsu SYP Pilkington Glass Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Huadong Glass Co., Ltd., and Changshu Special Glass Co., Ltd., with products ranging from advanced auto float glass, online Low-E vacuum sputtered glass, ultra-clear glass, TCO and special glass series. SYP Group actively supports the state policies to minimize the “carbon footprint”, save energy and reduce pollution, added more values to its products and promotes upgrades to the whole industry. SYP Group’s architectural processing business has four production facilities located in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong and Chongqing which itself covers the economically developed Yangtze River Delta, Bohai Bay, Pearl River Delta and the rapidly developing Central China Area. The annual processing capacity totaled at 50 million m2. The products cover coating, double glazing, laminating, tempering, and offline Low E glass.
