SERE Motors is a family-run, car dealership based on Boucher Road, Belfast and Moira Road, Lisburn. Managing Director, Stanley Edgar started out in the automotive industry by selling cars from a portacabin beside his family home and the company has remained in the family ever since. Even the company name ‘SERE’ derives from the initials of the company’s founding partners, Stanley Edgar and his wife Rosemary Edgar. The first SERE Used Car Supermarket opened in February 2000 at the 4.5 acre site based on the Moira Road, Lisburn and now SERE Motors has grown substantially with both sites able to showcase 100's of cars from leading brands. Today, SERE Motors has two used car supermarkets and three new car franchises which operate from their showrooms in Belfast and Lisburn. The new car franchises include the sporty, dynamic SEAT brand, Korean brand SsangYong and the up and coming leaders in the EV industry, MG Motor UK. SERE Motors are also authorised aftersales providers for MG, Mitsubishi, SEAT, SsangYong, Renault, Chevrolet and Fiat.
