About Senate House Education (Oxford)

Senate House Education is a team of exceptional Tutors and Admission Coaches from Oxford and Cambridge with diverse focuses and professional experience. We are a registered institution in Hong Kong and Macau under the Education Bureau of HKSAR and Direcção dos Serviços de Educação e Juventude of Macau.

Methodology

We employ different branches of innovative teaching approach based on latest research in Educational Psychology including Experiential Learning, Action Learning, Adventure Learning, Free Choice Learning, Cooperative Learning and Service Learning.

Our in-house Experiential Active Learning approach is a protracted curriculum combining key methods and objectives of the above branches. It is a teaching process based on progressivism that occurs between our tutors and students that infuses direct and empirical experience with the learning content and environment. Our tutors purposefully engage with learners in direct experience and focused reflection in order to increase knowledge, develop skills, clarify values, and develop students’ capacity in various different forms.
