Sempione Fashion AG is an international sales company responsible for the trading activities in Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia of the leading Italian fast fashion brand OVS. The company also markets the traditional Swiss brand Charles Vögele in Germany, Austria and Hungary. The foundations of today’s distribution company, Sempione Fashion AG, were laid in 1955 with the founding of the Charles Vögele fashion business in Switzerland.After the stock market flotation in 1999 and the expansion into surrounding markets, the company was taken over at the end of 2016 by Sempione Retail AG in the context of a public takeover bid by the investment group. The Italian fashion brand OVS Spa is part of this group. The company currently employs over 5000 people across the countries mentioned above.
