SEI MetalTek is a privately owned operating company that invests its own capital in the acquisition and development of manufacturing companies in the metal fabrication, processing and testing industries. John R. Grace founded SEI MetalTek under the name Spring Engineers, in 1966. Today, SEI MetalTek is involved in production machining, oil tool products, trench shoring devices, molded rubber products, electrical connectors, transformers, industrial real estate and venture capital investment. SEI MetalTek continues to achieve long-term growth in sales and profitability, with customers in domestic and international markets. SEI MetalTek works closely with the management teams of its portofolio companies, which include Hardware Products, SEI MetalForms, Spring Engineers of Houston, Colonial Springs, Hopwood Global, and John M. Dean.
