Scottish Independent Hostels

Scottish Independent Hostels (SIH) is a Membership Association of independently owned Hostels in Scotland. It is the largest Hostel network of its type in the world, with 130 Hostels located from Scotland’s Highlands and Islands to the vibrant cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness within its membership. Each one of our Hostels is unique, providing hospitality from independent owners that is excellent value. The description “Hostel” includes Backpackers, Bothies, Bunkhouse, Group Accommodation and Activity Accommodation and, yes, Hostels!
