About San Francisco Design Center
San Francisco Design Center [SFDC] is the West's best destination for fine home furnishings and accessories. SFDC is free and open to the public for browsing Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Sitting at the heart of the San Francisco's Design District [known as Showplace Square], the SFDC is comprised of three buildings; the Showplace, Galleria and Garden Court. Together, they house over 100 showrooms. Combined, these showrooms carry 2,000 manufacturers featuring products for every room in the home and in every style imaginable. This is the place to discover the very best name brands in furnishings, accessories, flooring, wallcoverings, fabric, lighting, kitchens, baths, closets, fine art and antiques.
While every showroom sets their own purchasing policies, generally, purchases are made through a design professional or buying service. Consumers that are interested in purchasing products from showrooms can contact any one of these buying services located at SFDC - Access Decor, Buy Design, Just Buy, and Source Design.
