Samaritan

Samaritan provides hardware and software cities can use to elevate their unsheltered off of the street. Small bluetooth beacons are given to people experiencing homelessness through city partners. If you have the Samaritan app and walk or drive by a beacon holder, you get a notification where you can directly invest money that person can spend on critical needs like clothing, food and shelter. Once a month, beacon holders meet with nonprofit counselors. In Seattle, these new relationships, coupled with financial resources, are leading to street exit outcomes and rich data.
