JSC “Russian Coal” was founded in 2002. The company’s assets are located in three regions of the Russian Federation: Amur region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The company unites six coal mines, a coal-preparation plant, energy supplying, transport and repair facilities.
As of 01.01.2016 total balance coal reserves of the company (A + B + C1, C2) amount to 1.220 billion tons.
In 2016 the Company plans that its annual production volume exceeds 14 million tons.
JSC «Russian Coal» delivers coal to consumers of 60 subjects of the Russian Federation and abroad (Poland, China, Japan, South Korea, Lithuania, Latvia and other countries).
JSC “Russian Coal” regularly invests in equipment, capital construction and development of a new resource base. Year after year, mining equipment is being upgraded or replaced by a more modern and productive one.
JSC “Russian Coal” is a major employer: 5,000 employees are working on its facilities.
