Ruschlikon is a collaborative working group, sharing ideas and best practice thinking to create more efficient and effective administrative procedures across the global insurance & reinsurance industry. The key focus has been to create an implementation community for the Ruschlikon messaging process, adopting ACORD standard messaging, and radically restructuring accounting & settlement procedures. Users who have implemented the new process report operational cost savings of up to 30%, the elimination of the need for data re-keying, and the acceleration of cash flows by up to 30 days. Ruschlikon is comprised of active implementation communities in the UK, North America, and France. It also has a Business Implementation Group (BIG), a technical committee that ensures that the Electronic Back Office Transactions (EBOT) and Electronic Claims Office Transactions (ECOT) represent the needs of members.
