Rotaract District 3220 (Sri Lanka & Maldives)

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women in the age category of 18 to 30 years. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service"​ and key members of the family of Rotary.As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service programmes, with more than 8,400 clubs in about 170 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.One of the most vibrant youth movements in Sri Lanka, Rotaract comprises of more than fifty clubs with over one thousand five hundred active members. Rotaract is an unmatchable catalyst in promoting peace and harmony, co-existence and tolerance, personal development and professional ethics.Known as R.l District 3220, Rotaract Clubs in Sri Lanka are based in many cities, institutions and major universities in Sri Lanka including, but not limited to, Colombo, Kandy, Panadura, Kelaniya, Nuwara-Eliya, Nikaweratiya, Jaffna, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Informatics Institute of Technology, Achievers Lanka Business School, Spectrum Institute of Technology, University of Colombo, University of Peradeniya, University of Jaffna, University of Moratuwa, University of Kelaniya and University of Sri Jayawardhanapura.
