About Research Services - Université de Genève

The research department is an efficient, multidisciplinary service that contributes to the promotion of research excellence. Its mission is divided into 4 focus areas:- Ensure a systematic strategic monitoring of research and innovation policies directly linked to the stakeholders active in these areas at the regional, national and international level;- Translate research and innovation policies into concrete and pro-active support measures and services for the whole research community (from the post-doctoral level onwards) of UNIGE and the Geneva innovation ecosystem, in particular Geneva-based SMEs;- Coordinate major research programs at the regional, national, European and international levels;- Propose to the Rectorate elements for the development of the UNIGE research strategy.
