Subject to the Constitution of Universiti Putra Malaysia, the Registrar's Office is responsible for the aspects of managing matters related to human resources and public administration at the University, responsible for the matters relating to the appointment, leave management, retirement, duties, remuneration, employee relations and medical funding to the employees of the University, responsible for the matters related to security and general administration of the University such as governance and issue circular about the administration, and perform any other function as necessary in the proper manner for carrying out tasks under the Constitution, Statutes, Rules and Regulation.
