Our vision is that every child will have equitable access to quality education to enable them to become confident social citizens with improved life chances. We strive to improve education outcomes by making learning fun, working with communities, partners and governments, keeping the child at the centre. We believe that every child can learn, and that a strong foundational education maximises their chances of future success. The guiding principle underpinning all our programmes is that the whole education system and all roles within it should be considered from the perspective of how they can optimally support the learning needs, and overcome the learning challenges, of children. What matters above all – more important than class size, resources or the curriculum – is that children regularly attend school and benefit from quality teaching. We work in partnership with several organisations to support the Government of Gujarat in their vision of achieving transformational education reform across the state. We blend our on-ground experience with global best practice and aim to support the government to deliver systemic change with an emphasis on professional development of teachers, sharper assessments, a robust accreditation framework and focused foundational literacy and numeracy outcomes.
