The Raxio Group is focused on investing in, building and operating world class Tier III data centres across Africa. Through our investments and hands-on approach, we seek to address the latent demand for critical data centre infrastructure that will drive digital transformation across the region.Raxio has built its first facility in Uganda by establishing and developing Raxio Data Centre Uganda (“Raxio Uganda”), a state-of-the-art facility on the outskirts of Kampala. Raxio is addressing primarily the Ugandan market where growing data needs, inadequate existing infrastructure and changing regulation are driving uptake. In Q4 2019, Raxio announced that it will be making it’s second investment in Raxio Data Centre Ethiopia (“Raxio Ethiopia”), which is currently in design. Raxio plans to build an additional 8-10 facilities in the next 24-36 months.
