Information	RAICES is a BIA-recognized, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has provided immigration legal services and education to immigrants, including Lawful Permanent Residents for more than 25 years. RAICES attorneys and accredited representatives enter their appearances on behalf of clients with USCIS, EOIR and in Texas state courts. RAICES has seven legal programs: Children’s Program for unaccompanied immigrant children in the custody of U.S. Health and Human Services pending removal proceedings before EOIR; Immigrant Survivors of Crime Program for applicants for VAWA, U and T Visas; Refugee Assistance Program; Family-Based Immigration and U.S. Citizenship Program; Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program; Detained Torture Survivors Program; and the Affirmative Asylum Program.
