Information
At Press’d the Sandwich Company we build on something familiar, a classic sandwich. But elevate it by using freshly baked bread and high quality ingredients to create unique recipes with exciting flavour combinations. Press’d was started in 2010 by Scott Gordon, Gavin Fedorak and Grant Fedorak. Teammates Gavin Fedorak and Scott Gordon were on the road with the University of Alberta’s Golden Bears basketball team in Phoenix, Arizona in 2006, when they stopped at a local sandwich shop - and were blown away. By 2009, U of A Business grads Gavin and Scott had left basketball behind and launched promising corporate accounting careers. Having a business of their own was always a plan though, so together with Gavin’s brother Grant they made up their minds—Edmonton still needed better sandwiches, and they were going to make it happen. After a year of testing recipes, learning to bake, and scouting locations, the trio opened their first location in 2010 in downtown Edmonton. Since then, Press’d has expanded to a full franchise operation with 17 locations across Alberta and Saskatoon.
