Precision Products (UK) Ltd (PPUK) is a British marque manufacture specializing in the manufacturer of piston rings and metallic seals based in Chesterfield, England. PPUK is unique in its ability to manufacture piston rings of all sizes and types. The rings manufactured range in diameter from 12mm to the largest of more than 2,000 mm. Mainly used in marine diesel engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke), the piston rings also support a wide variety of other applications including power generation, compressors, locomotive power, pumps and hydraulic. PPUK’s wide product range extends to cover many grades of material, which includes more than 15 grades of cast iron (including the latest vermicular irons). PPUK are also able to produce all currently specified coatings including Ceramic Chrome and Hard Chrome plating plus Plasma and HVOF sprayed coatings for a full range of 2-stroke and 4-stroke diesel engines sizes. Predominantly an export business, our range of products also includes a range of metallic seals which we produce for a variety on customers and applications ranging from heavy industry products to valve applications and Industrial Gas Turbines. These products range is size and materials, with PPUK having sound manufacturing knowledge of many Alloys including Haynes 25, Inconel and Nimonic.
