Pratham Institute for Vocational Training

Pratham Institute is the Vocational Training arm of Pratham Education foundation. One of India's largest non-governmental educational organisation, which has helped improve skills and employability of nearly a hundred thousand youth across the country since the year 2007.Pratham Institute imparts short-term courses, focusing on economically backward rural youth both male and female, and on women from urban slums. The model is founded on strong industry linkages, youth counseling, focus on hands-on skills, post-livelihood support and encouraging financial sustainability. It has shown that youth can learn essential skills in a short period of time and rise in their professions.
