Prakash Industries limited incorporated in the year 1980 is presently one of the largest diversified companies in India having interests in the manufacturing of Steel, Power, PVC Pipes & Fittings, and Flexible Packaging.Our integrated steel plant is located in Chhattisgarh (India), where we manufacture finished and semi-finished Iron & Steel products such as Sponge Iron, MS Billets, Ferro Alloys, Wire Rods, HB Wires and TMT Bars. Our steelmaking is supported by Waste Heat Co-generation and Coal based Captive Power Plants.Our PVC Pipes & Fittings plant is located in Uttarakhand (India), where we manufacture a wide range of uPVC Pipes & Fittings that find application in irrigation, water supply, sewage and plumbing. We are the largest PVC Pipes manufacturer in the North India market.We have strategically ventured in to Flexible Packaging business where we are manufacturing high performance barrier films and laminates that find application in packaging of food, beverages, oil, personal care and pharmaceutical products.We are also operating a 5 MW Wind Farm at India's first and largest wind power site in Tamil Nadu.
