Combined, our IFAs hold over 60 qualifications between them and have been helping people to get the most out of their money for more than 50 years. Both our managing partner and chairman are Fellows of the Chartered Insurance Institute.In 2009 we set up Portal Financial to make savings advice clearer, easier and more convenient for clients. As a result we have developed a way of doing things that is different to most, if not all, other independent financial advisers.By the time we changed our name to Portafina in 2016 over 11,000 people trusted us to look after more than £¼ billion of their savings. By February 2018 we were helping over 14,000 people and the pension savings we manage are now in excess of £½ billion. We are very proud of that. And why did we change our name to Portafina?
