About Pop Up Shop Pop Up Shop records is a brand new cutting edge Indie record label based out of Washington DC. Our label carves their niche by discovering, developing and promoting great female talent. We find artists at venues ranging from local coffee shops to lounges and elsewhere . Our aim is to take these artists and help them attain their dreams by working together towards a common goal : the main stage at a venue and airplay on your Ipod and radio. At Pop Up Shop, we’ve always seen ourselves as a part of community of people for whom music isn’t so much a pastime but a shared passion. It’s a passion that permeates the soul and heart of the artist and the audience. We firmly believe in the power of music to move you . to cast love out from the sounds and to be the rythym and soundtrack of your day and life.
