Poetry Nightclub

Located at the end of the Forum Shoppes at Caesars Palace, this nightclub focuses on two things: beauty and symmetry, which also happen to be two elements necessary for good poetry. With poetic verses written on the walls as well as on the napkins, Poetry really lives up to its name. Beautifully decorated with natural elements and a gothic theme, Poetry features somewhat ominous-looking trees, dark rose buds, and murals of beautiful women. Delicate chandeliers made with black Swarovski crystals hang from the ceiling along with lifeless branches. There’s even a “Hall of Trees” off to the side of the dance floor, which provides a nice secluded retreat when one needs a break from dancing. The VIP section at Poetry is also a little more open to the public than at most clubs, making them a hotspot in this trendy, upscale nightclub. One unique factor makes Poetry enticingly different from other clubs. The club focuses completely on hip-hop and plays almost none of the house or electronic music usually found in many Las Vegas nightclubs. Since the name Poetry also refers to the lyrics in rap music, there are even Tupac quotes posted on the walls of the clubs, suggesting that Tupac and Robert Frost may be worthy of equal praise. This may be a radical idea for bookworms, but it proves to be a pretty cool concept for Las Vegas club-goers. Poetry offers four different bars, all named after famous poets. The dance floor also features a small, elevated stage that has seen its fair share of popular recording artists and real-life poets; be sure to check out Poetry’s weekly slam poetry night. And with a friendly, down-to-earth staff, Poetry provides none of the snobbery that you might encounter at other exclusive Vegas clubs. This premiere hip-hop nightclub guarantees top-notch service, a cool vibe, and an overall great time.
