The company was founded in the 1950's by Thomas and Bernice Plumb, initially as a market business. In the 1960’s, their son, Geoff Plumb, developed the business into a mail order company specialising in a niche market of stretch furniture covers. Plumbs is still owned and run by the same family that established the company over 50 years ago and Mr Geoff Plumb still plays an integral part of the Company as Chairman of the Board. Today there are three generations of the Plumbs family working within the business across all areas of Marketing, Sales and Production and the commitment of the Plumb family is very much reflected in the friendly service and high levels of personal commitment exhibited by all our staff.
