Pickerings Lifts was founded in 1854 by Jonathan Pickering and has had an unbroken history of independent British ownership since that date. The wealth of knowledge we’ve gained from over 160 years experience has made us into the UK’s largest independent lift service provider we are today. Pickerings Lifts specialise in the maintenance, modernisation and repair of passenger and goods lifts, access lifts, mobility equipment, escalators and loading systems, with extensive experience of working on all types of structures; from historical houses, Grade II listed buildings to state of the art new builds.We are one of the only true national independent service companies in the UK.
