It was over 200 years ago back in 1794 when the Parkhouse legacy first began in Southampton as Daniel Pegler, the son of an established Blanford jeweller set up his business.The story heads north when Scotland’s oldest independent family jeweller LAING, established in 1840, acquired Parkhouse and Wyatt in Southampton in 1995, with the Cardiff Parkhouse store unveiled in July 2000 to coincide with the monumental return of this great city’s Welsh Parliament.This September 2017, the family have decided it is time for a shared name for shared values and the move to the Laing brand will become official. Formerly Parkhouse Hampshire, LAING Hampshire is due to relocate (Sept 2017) to the vibrant West Quay centre in the heart of Southampton. An oasis of luxury, showcasing acclaimed global watch brands Rolex, Patek Philippe & IWC along with Laing's own signature diamond collections and watch service and jewellery repair workshop. LAING Cardiff (formerly Parkhouse Cardiff) is a sanctuary of calm and tranquility in this vibrant city.
