Configurations include bypass valves, indicators and switches. Many also include shut-off, drain and anti-drain valves. Filter Elements: At Purolator, we manufacture a wide variety of both disposable and cleanable filter elements. The majority are designed to meet an array of very specific performance requirements. This testing guarantees that our elements will efficiently remove all types of contaminants and other impurities common to aircraft system fluids. Indicators & Switches: Purolator Microdelta differential pressure indicators provide visual indication of a filter element's impending or bypass condition. Also available are electrical filter bypass switches, which, when connected to a cockpit warning system, will alert operators of a possible filter bypass condition. Most indicators and switches are custom designed for specific applications. These devices can be integrally mounted on the filter assembly or installed in other aircraft system components.
