Information
After a distinguished career as a Tank Commander, 8 years in the newly formed N.H.S. and a career as a popular greengrocer, in 1967, Len Coller handed his grocery round over to "Uncle Fred" and acquired the lease of 48 Sandy Park Road. Park Furnishers was founded. Len sold furniture during the day and delivered it in the evening and it wasn't long before he had established a very successful business. Throughout the 70's and 80's Park Furnishers began sponsoring local sport, including; powerboat racing, football, basketball, cycling, and marathons. Currently, the fifth Park Furnishers balloon can be seen flying over the city between March and October. After handing the business over to his son, Deryn, in 1994, the company is now in the hands of the third generation of Collers, brothers Tim and James, who are supported by a team of dedicated and loyal staff to promote the great products in store and online. Throughout the last forty years, Park Furnishers has undergone many changes and alterations, but the guiding principles remain constant. Park Furnishers is not only committed to supplying high quality furniture at an affordable price, but is dedicated to providing the very best in customer service, through both reputation and innovation.
