Panorama Recreation is your health and wellness go-to place on the Saanich Peninsula in Greater Victoria. We offer a wide variety of current recreational, health, wellness and general interest programs. Panorama Recreation Centre is the main facility; featuring a newly renovated aquatic centre, indoor tennis courts, 2 ice arenas, racquet sports centre. In addition, Panorama Recreation offers programs at other local facilities including Greenglade Community Centre, Central Saanich Cultural Centre and North Saanich Middle School.
Panorama Recreation is proud to offer the Employee Wellness Program; an initiative allowing employers to promote a cultural of wellness through a specially rated access passes, on site fitness opportunities and nutrition seminars.
Panorama Recreation has a full fitness and weights facility including a dedicated spin room, fitness studio and extensive cardio and weights section. Programs include everything from Spin, TRX, HITT class, yoga, Jazzercise, Barre class, NIA , Zumba and Personal Training.
The indoor tennis complex plays host to world’s best at the Freedom 55 Women’s ITF Tennis Tournament in June and the National Bank ITF Junior Tournament in October. One squash court and one convertible court complete the award-winning Racquet Sports Centre.
The Aquatic Centre is home to the only aqua spin program on the island as well as a wheel chair accessible waterslide, lap pool, lazy river, steam room, sauna and swirl pool.
The two skating arenas are home to the Peninsula Panther’s Jr. B Hockey Club, Peninsula Minor Hockey Association and CARHA adult hockey league. In the summer, the arenas provide an excellent exhibit space for conventions, trade shows and other major events.
We are proud to offer a wide range of programming through our partnerships in the community such as Boulder’s Climbing Gym, PISE, SLEGG Lumber, Muse Winery, Ardmore Golf Course and Ocean River Sports.
