Panhandle Energy, a Southern Union Company

Through Panhandle Energy, Southern Union owns and operates 100% of Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company, Trunkline Gas Company, Sea Robin Pipeline Company, Southwest Gas Storage Company and Trunkline LNG Company – one of North America’s largest liquefied natural gas import terminals. Through CCE Holdings, LLC, Southern Union also owns 50 percent interest in Citrus Corp., which owns 100% of the Florida Gas Transmission pipeline system.

Southern Union’s pipeline interests operate more than 15,000 miles of interstate pipelines that transport natural gas from the Anadarko and San Juan basins, the Rocky Mountains, the Gulf of Mexico, South Texas and Mobile Bay to major markets in the Southeast, Midwest and Great Lakes region. The pipelines have a combined delivery capacity of 7.4 billion cubic feet per day and 87 billion cubic feet of underground storage. Trunkline LNG Company’s import terminal in Louisiana has 9 billion cubic feet of liquid storage facilities.

Southern Union Company (NYSE:SUG) which acquired Panhandle Energy in June of 2003 and CrossCountry Energy in November of 2004, is engaged primarily in the transportation, storage and distribution of natural gas. Through its local distribution companies, Missouri Gas Energy and New England Gas Company, Southern Union also serves more than half a million natural gas end-user customers in Missouri and Massachusetts. Southern Union is headquartered in Houston.
