The University of A Coruña (UDC) is a public institution whose primary objective is the generation, management and dissemination of culture and scientific, technological and professional knowledge through the development of research and teaching.The UDC Knowledge Transfer Office (OTRI) was established in 1991 as an interface between University and Business. Its fundamental goal is to enhance the relationship between both sectors, promoting the transfer of the university scientific-technical offer to industry.In order to provide market demand with UDC technological offer, our priority objectives are:- To identify potential matches between transferable knowledge generated by our researchers and potential business R&D needs, in order to implement collaborations.- To advice UDC researchers in the commercialisation of research results, contract design, R&D&i project proposals, prosecution of patents, creation of Spin-offs and any other transfer management activities.- To advice companies in their search for solutions to their R&D demands as well as on available public funding for R&D projects in Spain and Europe.
