Operation Homefront

Operation Homefront builds strong, stable and secure military families so they may thrive --not simply struggle to get by -- in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Through a robust array of valued and life-changing programs that address the specific short-term, critical assistance, long-term stability and recurring family support needs they experience, Operation Homefront is able to help military families overcome many of the challenges inherent in military life. Since inception, we have provided more than $28 million in assistance for military families who had difficulty paying their mortgage, rent, grocery, utility, home and car repair bills. We've accepted 678 military families into our Homes on the Homefront permanent housing program, providing over $85 million in deeded value, while our transitional housing program has provided 5500 months of rent-free housing. We've also helped 3,900 caregivers through 70 support groups, 8600 military spouses at Homefront Celebrations, provided holiday meals for 110,000 families (impacting over 475,000 family members), provided back to school supplies for 400,000 family members, and celebrated and supported nearly 18,000 new and expectant parents.We are highly rated. Over 90% of our expenses go directly to our programs and services.
