One North East is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) for North East England. It is one of nine RDAs in England that were established to transform the English regions through sustainable economic development. One North East's vision is a vibrant, self reliant, ambitious and outward looking region promoting the benefits of living, working and doing business here. One North East leads on the regional image campaign known as 'Passionate people. Passionate places'. This campaign aims to promote the region as an excellent location for investment and career development, at the heart of global innovation and highlighting the groundbreaking work taking place here across a number of key sectors. These key sectors include: Renewable energy, offshore wind and low carbon technologies; development of electric vehicles; process industries; and printable electronics.
