About NxGen International Security Network

NxGen ISN,, the Next Generation International Security Network, is a Washington, DC-based young professionals association dedicated to exploring new challenges, fostering meaningful relationships, and developing critical skills for national security in the 21st century. Since early 2013, we organize events that bring together policymakers and young professionals, graciously hosted in the French Embassy's auditorium, as well as select salons, in a spirit of independence, openness, and commitment to fueling public debate. Our conferences focus on innovative approaches to national security, 21st century challenges for the private sector, and international trends and emerging opportunities; they routinely gather over 100 people and are followed by a cocktail reception featuring French wines and cheese, to continue the discussion in a relaxed setting, in the renowned tradition of the French salon. Past speakers have included officers from the S.O.F. community and the Office of the French Defense Attaché, CEOs, current and former senior administration officials, and analysts from leading think tanks and NGOs. Past partnerships include the U.S. partner of the French ANAJ-IHEDN, the premier national association in France for young professionals focused on military and civilian national security issues. NXGen is a 501(c)3. We do not promote any institutional and political positions, nor do we engage in lobbying or ideological advocacy.
