Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services announced on 21-July-2020 an expansion of its services in North America. Novum, one of the world’s leading Contract Research Organizations (CRO) for almost fifty years, has consolidated Lambda Therapeutic Research’s Toronto, Canada clinic and bioanalytical laboratory into Novum operations. This follows the 2019 acquisition of Novum by Lambda. Therefore, with this transition Lambda Canada becomes Novum Canada. Novum Canada is based at Toronto, one of the world’s most ethnically diverse major cities with a population of over 6 million in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Driven by an experienced team of industry stalwarts, Novum Canada offers a wide spectrum of CRO services backed by advanced infrastructure and impeccable expertise. Novum Canada offers a wide spectrum of Early Clinical services including Phase I (First-in-Human) with extensive monitoring and Bioavailability (BA), Bioequivalence (BE), Pharmacokinetics (PK), Pharmacodynamic (PD), Interaction studies (drug/drug, drug/alcohol), Dose Escalation (SAD/MAD), Safety & Tolerability, Dose Ranging and Vaccine studies. These services are supported by a clinical team comprised of medical doctors, registered nurses, technicians, and medical assistants as well as 142 beds including 12 Phase I beds with access to two additional clinics in US that can accommodate large panels, long institutionalization and mixed population studies. Lastly, Novum Canada offers a one-stop solution bioanalytical studies with the capacity to store more than 200,000 samples and a highly experienced team of scientists with more than 10 years of expertise.
