NovaAlgoma

Founded in 2016, NovaAlgoma is a joint venture between Nova Marine Carriers SA (Nova) of Luxembourg and Algoma Central Corporation (Algoma) of Canada. NovaAlgoma comprises three fleets: NovaAlgoma Cement Carriers (NACC), NovaAlgoma Short Sea Carriers (NASC) and NovaAlgoma Bulk Holdings (NABH). NovaAlgoma Cement Carriers (NACC)NACC owns the second largest fleet of pneumatic cement carriers in the world. Cement shipping is a regionalized market with generally smaller vessels servicing large global manufacturers that support infrastructure investment. NovaAlgoma Short Sea Carriers (NASC)The NASC fleet comprises owned ships, vessels under third party management contracts, and chartered vessels. The size and configuration of short sea mini bulkers allow cargo to be moved efficiently between coastal and inland ports. The NASC fleet supports the agricultural, cement, construction, energy and steel industries worldwide.
