Norwegian Armed Forces Cyber Defence

Military organization that manages, develops and defends the Norwegian Armed Forces computer systems, networks, and high-tech platforms from attack in and from cyber domain. NAF Cyber defense is a military trains and educated strategic signals- and cyber defense personnel (military computer engineers), and supports colleagues in the Norwegian Armed Forces with training and competency development. Primary tasks: Support the technological development of the Norwegian Armed Forces and implements new technologies and concepts within safe operating limits. Lead the development of network-based defense and concept development and experimentation activities (CD&E) in the military. Provider of services, ICT command and control and communication systems for Defence departments and operations, domestic as well as overseas. Secure and defend Norwegian Armed Forces' ICT and Command and Control systems from digital threats.
