Northumbria Army Cadet Force

Northumbria Army Cadet Force is a youth oriented organisation which takes young people from the age of 12 to 18 tears old and helps them develop as better citizens using a military syllabus. It helps youngsters develop a sense of achievement and self esteem, and is sponsored by the Ministry of Defence. The Army Cadet Force is a national organisation run by a nucleus of full time staff, with thousands of volunteer across the country. Northumbria is part of this organisation.
