About North University of China
North University of China (NUC), located in the picturesque city of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, is a distinguished multi-disciplinary institution with a rich history dating back to 1958. Originally established as the Taiyuan Institute of Machinery, it evolved into the North China Institute of Technology before adopting its current name in 2004. Spanning an impressive 170 hectares, NUC is surrounded by the natural beauty of green mountains and a serene river, providing an inspiring environment for academic pursuit.
NUC comprises 13 schools and offers a comprehensive range of academic programs, including 26 PhD programs, 82 Master’s programs, and 62 Bachelor’s programs, all authorized by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council.
