North Texas Society for Healthcare Risk Management

NTSHRM (pronounced NUT-SHRUM) is a Texas registered, non-profit corporation dedicated to furthering the principles of healthcare risk management and improving patient safety through educational offerings, networking, and providing a resource to interested parties. NTSHRM is the North Texas Chapter of the national organization, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM). Members of our chapter include risk managers, patient safety officers, performance improvement specialists, insurance professionals, defense attorneys, legal nurse consultants, claims representatives, and physicians. Members share the goal of improving patient safety and mitigating loss for patients, healthcare providers and their facilities. Through our programs, educational meetings and annual education day, we strive to create a forum for the exchange of ideas and information, encourage and promote professional development, and provide resources to advance the professional practice of healthcare risk management.
