As one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, we serve a local population of around 500,000 people across South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and North Bristol. We are a centre of excellence in a wide range of specialties, including orthopedics, neurosciences, renal, transplant, and neonatal care.To achieve our aim of 'exceptional healthcare, personally delivered', we work hard to maintain an environment of continuous learning and development. More than 6,500 babies were born at Southmead, Cossham Hospital, at home or elsewhere in the community and we carried out approximately 111,790 new outpatient appointments.
