Central Technical Supplies (Pty) Ltd. (Geiger Engineering), formerly known as “Geiger Electrical and Mechanical Engineering” was founded in 1980 by Mr F. J. Geiger. With only a few employees the main business core focused on the repair and service of industrial washing machines, standby generator sets as well as switchboards. As the company grew over the years, so did its experience in other fields of business and a name was made in the installation of steam generation plants, autoclaves and incinerators country wide. In 1995 Central Technical Supplies was founded as a daughter company of Geiger Engineering, with its main focus on supplying the Namibian industry with products from the automation field, as well as steam accessories, industrial control products and many more. Well-known brands such as Miele, Fluke, Danfoss, Vega and many more become associated with CTS over the many years of service. Ten years after the founding of CTS, Geiger Engineering and CTS merged to become known as Central Technical Supplies (Pty) Ltd. (GEIGER Engineering) with our wide product range for the Namibian industry as well as experienced installation teams that travel country wide to perform routine service jobs and render installations. With the opening of a branch office in Walvis Bay during 2003, CTS is able to serve the coastal region better with its marine and mining activity. The branch focuses on the supply of industrial equipment only. Any installation, repair or service work is still carried out by teams from Windhoek.
