Nobu Restaurants

Nobu, the world-renowned Japanese restaurant recognized for pioneering a new-style Japanese cuisine, started as a business partnership in 1994 between Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and his partners, Academy Award winning actor Robert De Niro, producer Meir Teper, and restaurateur Drew Nieporent. Originating in New York as the flagship restaurant, the Nobu Brand is now an empire that spans across five continents with 41 restaurants and growing. Following the success of the restaurants, Nobu Hospitality opened the first Nobu Hotel in 2013 in Las Vegas and today has 10 hotels open and eight in development. Nobu Restaurants is searching for a Director of Event Sales who will actively promote events for the Nobu restaurants nationwide. This individual will serve as an expert and leader in the event industry and is responsible for generating event business to this portfolio of restaurants. They will thrive at driving sales though the utilization of excellent communication and negotiation skills and must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment that promotes autonomy, accountability and a close team environment. Being a self-starter, effectively communicative and highly organized is crucial as this is a newly developed role.
