NMMC Behavioral Health Center

The Behavioral Health Center (BHC) is a freestanding facility located on the campus of North Mississippi Medical Center. It is staffed with an outstanding treatment team of psychiatrists, licensed clinical psychologists, registered nurses, social workers, professional counselors, and physicians who monitor the medical and emotional needs of patients.The Behavioral Health Center currently employs seven board certified psychiatrists. We have expanded our team based on the need for psychiatric treatment in the area we serve. BHC also offers psychiatry via Telehealth. This allows patients to see a psychiatrist from a nearby clinic instead of driving all the way to Tupelo. The Telehealth consult is transmitted via a secure Internet source through video equipment and computers in the clinic exam room which are connected to the provider's computer. We are excited to offer this option for treatment and continue to be committed to providing the best patient and family centered care in America.
