About Nile Sugar

• Nile Sugar was established in 2006 by the Sawiris family with investment
of EGP 2,5 billion and started production and operations in 2010.
• NSC operates and manages a world class beet sugar extraction plant
and refinery producing white sugar and its associated by-products,
fodder and molasses.
• Headquartered in Cairo, with its production plant located in Nubarya,
along the Cairo Alexandria desert road
• The factory is located on 277 feddans (owned by NSC) with ample space
allowing future expansion, including the addition of a second production
line
• In 2016, NSC managed to increase its beet root processing capacity by
47% to reach 10,500 tons per day, up from 7,500 tons per day
• NSC is a fully functioning organization with a strong management team
of 908+ employees.
• Nile Sugar has awarded engineering, procurement, and construction
contracts to best-in-class partners, all leaders in the construction of
sugar production plants worldwide including BMA, Siemens Sugar
Industries, and Maguin.
