Nick Boileau - Politician

One large local project Nick Boileau is passionate about is a proposed Performing Arts Centre. Chair of CREATE-Durham (Committee for the Regional Establishment of Arts, Theatre and Entertainment), Boileau has begun working diligently with prominent local people towards the goal of a 1000 seat performing arts centre in Whitby. “This development has been swift and focused. Knowing the plans of the municipality, I hope to work closely with them toward a goal that far exceeds the downtown initiative. I am more than excited about the possibilities such a venue would create for the Region and the town. I expect big things from this proposal, both in its scope, feasibility and the sustainability of the project.”
