Using specialized blending, melting, and continuous casting processes, it produces high quality aluminum sheet from predominantly recycled materials. Utilizing the continuous casting process at the Davenport, Iowa mini-mill facility, aluminum sheet is cold rolled to gauge and then finished at the Davenport, Iowa, Decatur, Alabama, and Lincolnshire, Illinois locations to customer specifications. Nichols Aluminum operates two coil coating lines: Davenport, Iowa (38"​) and Decatur, Alabama (52"​). We have the capability of coil coating a diverse selection of organic coatings and finishes. Our products serve building and construction, transportation, machinery and equipment, consumer durable, and electrical.
